Why Yunella
The obstetrician who confirms the pregnancy is the obstetrician who reviews each ultrasound, discusses the birth plan, and is present at the delivery. Continuity is the design of the practice, not a scheduling accident.
The scans are done by the obstetrician, in the office, not by a technician whose images are read later by someone you never meet. Growth, position, fluid and placental location are reviewed with you during the same appointment.
Every Yunella pregnancy delivers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Grove — a short drive from the office on San Vicente — with full access to maternal-fetal medicine, neonatal intensive care, and anesthesia if the delivery needs them.
Visits are scheduled with room to talk. Prenatal care generates questions faster than a fifteen-minute slot can answer them, and rushing that conversation is how things get missed.
Yunella is a surgical practice as well as an obstetric one. Fibroids, ovarian cysts and endometriosis — before a pregnancy or after it — are managed by the same physician who performs the surgery, rather than referred out and lost track of.
Yunella takes a limited number of obstetric patients at any one time. That constraint is the reason same-week appointments, unhurried visits, and a familiar voice on the phone are possible — and it is why the practice occasionally has a waitlist.

Pregnancies do not all need the same schedule. Some need nothing more than good prenatal care and an unhurried appointment; others need closer surveillance from the first trimester. Yunella manages both in the same practice.

Yunella Women's Health is at 6330 San Vicente Blvd, Suite 418, Los Angeles, CA 90048, on the edge of the Miracle Mile and a short drive from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where every Yunella pregnancy delivers.
Patients come from across the Westside and Mid-City — most often from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hancock Park, Larchmont, Miracle Mile, Brentwood, Century City, Culver City and Santa Monica — and, for the third-trimester weekly visits, proximity matters more than patients expect.
There is on-site parking in the building, and appointments are scheduled so that visits start on time rather than running an hour behind.
Questions
Most patients are seen between 5 and 8 weeks. Booking early matters less for the medicine than for the calendar — it secures a place in the practice while the pregnancy is still early.

No. The first visit and early ultrasound happen the usual way. Concierge maternity care is a separate choice, made once the pregnancy is established at around 10 weeks.
Age over 35 changes which tests are offered and how closely growth is followed in the third trimester, but it is not a diagnosis. Many pregnancies in this group are entirely routine.
The first trimester is monitored more closely, with serial ultrasound to confirm viability and, after a multiple-embryo transfer, to establish chorionicity. Your fertility clinic's medication protocol is continued and tapered rather than stopped abruptly.
Recurrent pregnancy loss is evaluated before the next conception where possible, and the following pregnancy is monitored with more frequent early ultrasound. The plan is built around what the prior losses showed.
The office is on San Vicente Boulevard at the edge of the Miracle Mile. Most patients come from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hancock Park, Larchmont, Brentwood, Century City, Culver City and Santa Monica, though the practice sees patients from across Los Angeles.
Care continues past the traditional six-week visit — recovery, feeding, mood, pelvic floor and contraception are followed for as long as they need attention.
